Alongside production, F.lli DEMARTINI also restores slate chalkboards in all sizes, even extra large. The service involves replacing the old, single or multi-panel chalkboards with new ones, after inspection and evaluation.
The company takes care of dismantling the old chalkboard and its subsequent disposal. With multi-panel, even frameless chalkboards (eg university blackboards) many meters in length, the old slate boards are dismantled and new ones assembled to slide perfectly horizontal along the whole track length. When dealing with limited space, or replacing old wooden-framed blackboards, new vertical sliding chalkboards with light aluminium frames can be conveniently installed, with a choice of modular multi-panel systems. Restoration work is customized and carried out after inspection and evaluation.
