Vertical sliding boards composed of two natural slate blackboards with porcelain steel magnetic surface, with extra connectable modular units. They can be mounted on both a sturdy aluminium or iron frame and stand for intensive, prolonged use. The rapid and silent vertical sliding movement is achieved by a toothed linked chain and ball bearing sheaves. This chain driven mechanism allows the two boards to move in a perfectly counterbalanced way (when one rises the other drops) sliding up and down the lateral tracks by means of pulleys. A normal felt eraser can be used on the dry wipe surface, which can also be cleaned thoroughly with a wet cloth using tap water.
